After a lengthy battle with his health, Randy Martin passed suddenly on Monday, February 16, 2026 at University Hospital in London, Ontario at the age of 68.
Randy was born in St. Thomas on November 10, 1957, son of the late Edward Martin and Muriel (Moore) Martin. Survived by his wife Julie (nee Ginn), Randy was a proud father to Amanda (Marcus), Kylie (Sam), Samantha & Matthew. He was the younger brother of the late Robert (Mary Anne) Martin. He was a loving Papa to Kinsley and Hunter.
To those who knew him, Randy was a very caring man. He will be remembered for his generosity and dedication within his communities. Randy loved and was an avid collector of all things “Beatles,” and “Batman.”
As per his wishes, there will be no funeral or service. However, a private interment will take place at a later date.

As a coworker of Randy's for a number of years I got to see his commitment to his community as well as family. One such example was helping start Christmas Magic in Cobourg, lighting up the park with lights and other displays every year. I still think of him each year when going by the display.
As coworkers we became friends, sharing a number of laughs and inside jokes and our sons born within months of each other. My condolences to his family and that you will remember some of the laughs and good times.
