Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, Penny passed away at the age of 69.
Penny was a beloved mom to Tracy, David (Becky), Jeremy (Caitlin), and Deanna (Rod). She was the best sister to Pat (Walter) and a cherished sister-in-law to Sheryl. She was a loving Nan to Paige, Jacob, Lorna, Karmin, Jordan, Cody, Zackary, and Keci, and a devoted Great-Nan to Kingston, Zara, and Kiyan. Penny was a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. To those who knew her, Penny was mom to many, many people and best friend to all.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lorna and Gordon Bach; her brothers, Tom and Jerry (Merrilee); and her sister, Marj.
Penny was a keeper of family stories and connections. She had a deep love for crafting and creating, finding joy in making things by hand and filling her home with warmth and care. She had a special fondness for owls, often saying they were her spirit animal—symbols of her wisdom, watchfulness, and quiet strength. Family was always her focus, and her grandchildren were her greatest passion. She also had a love for gnomes, which brought her joy and smiles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 990 Dearness Drive, London, Ontario, on Sunday, February 15th, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A private interment will take place at a later date.
Donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated. https://www.sjhospicelondon.com

You kept my secrets when I could tell no one else. You shared my laughter at things that only we understood. You knew my life better then anyone because you had shared it all with me. There is no one who knew me better then you did and no one every will. You were and always will be my best friend, my soul sister. You take with you such a large part of my heart and the hole it's left will never be filled. I will keep you with me till we are together again. Loved and so missed your Big sister Pat
